Have you ever felt

Less alone in a crowd

Than when the paper

Rustles and the

Pages float by with

A stretch and a purchase

Held by sitting and letting

The waves wash over you

The volume and the water

The ocean of voices

Laughing and joyous

Pulsing calmly

I’ve only done watercolor a couple times in my life, and I only had about 30 minutes to do this one. The ferry ride from memory. In anticipation of coming home for Thanksgiving. The ride home was just like this, except for the dog over to my right that ran off halfway through the trip.

I’ve been so busy the last couple years that I haven’t had time to do much with this site. But I wanted to say Merry Christmas and that I hope to revitalize it soon. There’s a lot I want to do and maybe I can find the time to do it.

I’ve officially put up my first public art show, with several prints on display at Mocha Mott’s in Vineyard Haven!
