I didn’t realize how bad I was ripping off the little prince while I made this, it’s just what came out while testing out my new Surface Pro. Getting used to drawing on this thing, but I think it will be good in the long run, once I adjust. It feels a lot more loose than my usual style right now, but I can adapt.

I made this awhile back when I was working for Che’s lounge, but I was dissatisfied with it, and busy with other things, so it never got finished/used, but I look at it now and I find that I like it, so I decided to share:

I haven’t been drawing enough lately, so I’m breaking out the sketchbook and putting down some lines. This is what came out today. Maybe a little Dark Souls influence.

I recently finished a design for a logo for the Nature as Inspiration Film Festival at the MV Film Society (where I’ve been working for almost a year now). It popped into my head pretty quickly when I heard the title of the festival, I did a quick draft on paper and then got to work on making this in the moments that I was not working at the Film Center. It’s trickling out into the world now and I’m pretty excited about it!

It’s been my intent for awhile to get back into game design, so at someone’s suggestion I’ve been playing with the Portal 2 editor, just to kind of get myself back in the mindset of map making and game thinking. At some point I’m going to get Unreal Engine 4 and start making new maps for that. Anyway, this is a screenshot of what I’ve been working on the last couple nights in Portal 2.

So I found this old sketchbook, and it’s from right around when I started trying to push my artwork, drawing more regularly. To current day me, most of it looks like garbage, but there are a few gems, some interesting ideas, and a sense of progression from the beginning to the end. I decided to scan the thing pretty much in it’s entirety and dump it here. Here it is:

Made this today. Been drawing as well but I haven’t gotten a chance to scan them in proper so I haven’t posted them here. My instagram is @maurydegeofroy so if you follow me there you’ll see most of what I make there first.
